WHITE DINNER ROLL DOUGH

Home Baking Procedure (Keep frozen until ready to use)


EASY METHOD

1) Cut open the tamper proof bag. Reseal any unused rolls using a ziplock bag and refreeze.
2) Place frozen rolls in a greased pan - 20 cm x 20 cm (8 x 8) for 9 rolls or 20 cm x 30 cm (8 x 12) for 15 rolls. Greased muffin tins work well too.
3) Apply a thin coating of vegetable oil or melted butter to the top of the rolls.
4) Loosely cover with plastic wrap (keeps dough from drying out) and place rolls in refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours (to thaw) e.g. Overnight, or as you leave for work in the morning.
5) Pre-heat oven to 150 F and then turn off.
6) Remove thawed rolls from refrigerator and remove the plastic wrap.
7) Place on the middle shelf of the warm oven to rise for approx. 60 min. or until rolls have at least doubled in size.
8) Gently remove rolls from the oven and pre-heat to 350 F
9) Place rolls in centre of oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool rolls on a wire rack -- ENJOY.


QUICK AND EASY METHOD

1) Take frozen rolls from freezer and place in Microwave Oven at Defrost setting for approx. 5 - 6 min. or until dough is thawed.
2) Pre-heat oven to 150 F and turn off.
3) Place thawed rolls in a greased pan - 20 cm x 20 cm (8 x 8) for 9 rolls or 20 cm x 30 cm (8 x 12) for 15 rolls. Greased muffin tins work well too.
4) Place on the middle shelf of the warm oven to rise for approx. 60 min. or until rolls have at least doubled in size.
5) Remove rolls from oven -- pre-heat to 350 F
6) Place rolls back into oven and bake 15 - 18 minutes or until golden brown -- remove rolls from pan and cool on wire rack -- ENJOY.
Remember -- Preparing dough for baking is simply thawing and rising -- if time permits you can leave thawed dough -- in a greased pan -- lightly covered in plastic wrap -- on your kitchen counter for 4 to 6 hours (or until 1.5 above top of pan). Now simply bake and ENJOY.
